Speeding up the installation of World of Warcraft
I've been lured into the hype of WoW. Well, to be honest, I'd already brought the game, played it for a bit (and enjoyed it!) but got put off by having to pay monthly for it. Although the 'Scroll of Ressurection' thing going on has brought me back to it, with a 10-day free pass 
after which I'll probably pay for it.
Anyway...I have to reinstall it, and it was taking ages! Although there's a way to speed it up some

WoW doesn't require an "install". All the install time is uncompressing MPQ files and whatever. If you had a friend with it already installed, you could use a 5+ gig flash drive to copy their whole WoW folder and play off the thumb drive. City of Heroes is a lot worse. I got that when it came out, played for a month and was totally bored... then they had a free weekend a year later and it took 37 hours to reinstall and patch it :)

Sorry, I meant to say download. I was referring to the download manager that comes with WoW. Not entirely sure why I put install....thanks for pointing it out though
